Not Making Bank, But Some Play Money.

Trying to figure out if you should start blogging for money? Well, ask yourself these few questions:
-Do I plan to quit day job for this, or just trying to get some play money?
-What interests me enough to share will tons of people?
-Do I like typing regularly to keep my readers fresh?
-Am I willing to put in what seems like tons of free time at first to get my blogs recognized?

Well if your answers go as so - just play money, loving sharing about -----, like to update info and status, and I can invest free time to setup good blogs that people will share- then you can keep going.

Less than 10% of people blogging make money equal to that of a typical low middle class salary. But, many do make a few hundred to few thousand per year but keeping up with blogs and displaying intriguing, original information. Most say they spend less than 15 hrs maintaining several blogs (once totally set up and the 'marketing' is in place).

First thing... now jot this down... Figure out 3 topics you can talk about for hours.

Second... spend your free time throughout a week developing an interesting article for each.
You want these first articles to grab some readers so they will add you to their 'blog read' list.

Third... start blog pages for each and put words in title you believe people will Google search. Now type up the articles.

Fourth.... Spend couple hours designing and redesigning and redesigning (you get the idea) the blog page... needs to be attractive and flow.

Fifth...Be sure to sign up for Adsense (google ads) and display the allowed 3 ads. Also sign up with Amazon Associates for the sales referral program (they pay you when someone accesses them through your page and they buy something).

Sixth... put plenty other widgets that are fun and intertaining... you want them to come to read and have games, or polls, and plenty of enjoyable pictures.

Seventh... now you need to send to all friends and family and ask them to do the same. And sign up for feeds.

Eighth.... get a website to promote your various blogs... try http://www.hostingdude.com/ - a cheap web host.
Use this to set up various links to your blogs... basically a central library for your articles.

Lastly, read other blogs that interest you and comment on the blogger's page and articles and share your links with the person and add them to your read list and likely, most other bloggers will appreciate and support you.

NOW- just have fun... don't get too technical... it will get easier... as long as you enjoy the topics.
